• Reporting to : Reports to the Tech Lead or Cloud Architect within the Security Practice.

Position objective

The Microsoft Cloud Engineer in the Security Practice is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining cloud security solutions for customers, ensuring the protection of data, identities and cloud infrastructures. The position involves proactive security management through monitoring and analysis tools, and advanced protection technologies.

Main responsibilities

• BUILD Design and implement security solutions on Microsoft platforms to protect customers' cloud environments.
• RUN Day-to-day management of security solutions, threat monitoring and system compliance.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) Implement and manage identity and access management systems, including MFA, PKIand Microsoft Entra.
• Threat monitoring and detection Configure and optimize intrusion detection tools (IPS), incident response (EDR), and security information and event management (Microsoft Sentinel).
• Workstation and application protection : Implement and administer solutions such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Automation and management tools : Manage processes and automations using PowerShell, GIT, JIRA.

Environments and Technologies

• Microsoft Defender Protecting devices and identities against cyberthreats.
• Microsoft Sentinel SIEM platform for monitoring and managing security incidents.
• Microsoft Entra Identity and access management.
• Microsoft Purview : Tools for data governance and protection.
• Microsoft Priva : Personal data protection and compliance.
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager : Device and safety management.

Skills required

• Techniques :
  • Mastery of cloud security tools and Microsoft protection solutions, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentineland Microsoft Entra.
  • Experience in identity and access management (IAM, MFA, PKI).
  • Expertise in security incident detection and response (IPS, EDR), as well as network security and access management (NAC, Proxy).
  • Automation and workflow management skills with PowerShell, GITand JIRA.
• Certifications :
  • Microsoft Security certifications recommended (e.g. : Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate).
• Languages : Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Training : BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in IT, cybersecurity, or relevant technical field.
• Experience : Minimum 3 years' experience in managing cloud security infrastructures and protecting Microsoft environments.

• Autonomy in managing security solutions and associated infrastructures.
