In a company undergoing profound change, the methods used by the Support Functions are seen as a hindrance by the company's other departments. Support function issues :

  • multiple entry points/channels for requests to support functions
  • team load feeling
  • importance of prioritizing requests / team staffing structure
  • need for greater communication and coordination between teams
  • no feedback to internal customers

The company decided to upgrade its 200 support function managers by training them in the Agile method.

  • Acculturation of 200 support function managers
  • Facilitation of 20 interactive distance-learning sessions
  • Feedback and follow-up
  • Identification of potential ambassadors, able to spread the Agile method internally (as part of a community).
