Job description:

For one of our customers in the banking sector, we are looking for a Lead Tech / Data Platform Architect to design and develop a data platform from scratch on Snowflake (hosted on Azure). Responsible for architecture, implementation and optimization, with total autonomy.

Responsibilities :

• Architecting the Snowflake platform on Azure: data modeling, ETL/ELT transformations, secure integrations
• Use DBT for advanced modeling, transformations, testing and observability (packages like dbt-utils)
• Implement IaC with Terraform for provisioning and infrastructure management
• Manage RBAC and Azure security integrations (encryption, masking, RLS)
• SQL development for ETL scripts, automations and APIs
• Ensure scalability, performance and FinOps on large Snowflake platforms.
• Technical leadership: mentoring, best practices in data engineering

Profile required:

• 5+ years in data engineering/architecture, including 3+ on Snowflake production (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, RBAC expertise; structuring experience on large platforms)
• DBT expertise (modeling, SQL transformations, test/observability packages)
• Azure experience for hosting/integration, focus on security/RBAC
• Python and SQL (ETL, automation)
• CI/CD knowledge (GitHub); Prefect/Dagster would be a plus
• Autonomy, problem-solving skills and results orientation
• Fluent English; French appreciated
• Plus points: Experience in the banking sector (sensitive data, regulatory reporting) / Snowflake certifications (SnowPro, Snow Architect), DBT / Additional tools: data observability, etc.
